How To Include Your Pet In Your Annual Christmas Card

It may seem like a while away, but I can assure you that the holiday season will be upon us in no time, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll quite possibly be a little disorganised!

Well, this year I made a pact with my sister that I would be more organised and start things like shopping and holiday card writing well in advance so I’m hoping that I’ll be able to relax into the festive period without feeling like I am completely out of control!

So, gift shopping, wherever suitable is going to be done via Amazon (I can watch TV while doing that so it won’t feel like a chore!) and printed Christmas cards are going to be created and personalised online rather than sending some naff, impersonal seasonal offering that I usually pick up from Kmart or somewhere.

You already know how to get to Amazon so I won’t bother giving you instructions on that but if you’re in the market for creating some unique and really fun holiday cards featuring your pet then I have just the website for you!

BasicInvite.com.au is a site that enables you to upload your photos into existing templates and create unique and personalised cards.

This is a great option for dog owners who have recently had a pet photography session shot and would like to share the cute photos of their dog or a favourite from the session of themselves with their dog.

Friends and family love to receive photos of the furry friends or little people at this special time of year so making a card is the perfect way to do this, and it also saves on ordering prints.

Once you’ve uploaded your photo and have chosen a template, you can then tweak the design to exactly fit your specifications, with control over sizing, upright or landscape format, text overlays.

A selection of frame designs from a seasonal plaid, a wintry warm hygge style or simply select a colour that matches an element of your photo.  Not all online card creators are of equal quality so you’ll notice the premium touches such as the addition of foils on certain designs and even some swish clear design elements which look really fetching on party invites or save the date announcements.

You are able to couple these physical design elements with the paper stock of your choice such as Premium Shimmer or Signature Matte, all of which give your cards a professional feel.

If you have a creative streak and know what you’re doing with design packages such as InDesign or even Adobe Express then you are also able to upload your own fully formed designs for printed Christmas cards, birthday cards, wedding invites and pretty much anything else you might want to look fabulous when it arrives in the mailboxes of friends and relatives.

Once you’ve made your pet holiday cards you might like to create more gifts for yourself or keepsakes such as invitations, notelets, coasters or stickers. Once the holiday fun is over you can return to the site and create some new business cards for yourself!

Whatever life stage your pet is at, your local pet photographer will have the perfect package to suit your furry friend!
