Dani of Adelaide’s Hound in Hand Photography knew, even from a very early age that she was going to be a photographer.

Starting out in the world of fashion (dahling!) and moving into weddings and events she eventually found her calling and fulfilment working with dogs.

Dani says that it brings great joy to photograph the special connection between dog and human, creating memories to last a lifetime.

Based in Unley, Mark Trumble of Photographyroom is one of SA’s most accomplished pet photographers, being a 4 time winner of the (sadly now defunct) AIPP SA Pet & Animal Photographer of the Year Award.

Through his ‘Pet Pawtrait’ sessions Mark has raised $20,000 in support of the Animal Welfare League.

Before shouting about her incredible pet photography skills, Elouise Giardina admits that she is a crazy dog lady and obsessed with horses. Oh, and she’s the proud owner of a rescue Greyhound.

Based in Adelaide, but shooting all over Australia Elouise has cultivated a relaxed and authentic style for her pet photos, as you’ll see from her Instagram account.

Petstar Photography is run by Karen Faure, an Adelaide based family pet photographer.

Working in the photographic industry since 2001,and starting this business in 2014 Karen has cultivated a loyal following of clients and has photographed hundreds of pets across Adelaide since she first started.

Understanding the need for patience when working with animals, Karen takes time to get to know each pet and allows them time to find their comfortable place before attempting to work with them.

As well as solo shots of dogs, Karen does a great job of capturing the special bond between pet and owner in her portraits

Located in the Adelaide Hills, photography sessions with Faithful Paws start at a very reasonable $100.  No product is included within this fee, but it still represents excellent value for pet photos in Adelaide.

Created by the self taught photographer Elise, who spent so much time photographing her own dogs that she became a proficient and skilled dog photographer, Faithful Paws creates striking artworks for your wall that are guaranteed to still look incredible in years to come.

Erika describes herself as your local crazy cat and dog lady, and probably the most colourful animal photographer you’re likely to meet.

Photographing weddings, events and animals in the early part of her career, Erika decided it was time to follow her passion and just photograph the subjects she loves – animals!
